We’re called to be Disciples making disciples and that means following in the footsteps of Jesus. But what if we’re not sure how Jesus would handle certain situations? We just have to turn to His word to find out how to go through these circumstances with the love and grace of God.
Sanctification might sound like a big, theological word, but at its heart, it simply means being made holy or set apart. As believers, we're called to navigate the challenges of life by growing in holiness each day. The beautiful part is that we don’t do this alone—it’s through the strength of Christ that we’re able to be sanctified daily, overcoming and enduring whatever comes our way.
In the anticipation of Jesus' promised return, we navigate a delicate balance between living with the wisdom of readiness and potentially slipping into complacency. As we remain in this "stay tuned" period, the call to prepare ourselves spiritually resonates, urging us to stay vigilant and steadfast in our faith.
As we navigate the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy to lose sight of the profound truth—the Lord is coming! The Bible reminds us to be prepared at any moment. Are you ready to welcome His presence? Let's embark on this journey of anticipation together.
We begin to remember the life of Christ starting with His baptism. In the account of this event we see the trinity, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. And the Prophet Isaiah reminds us that the Servant of the Lord who came would have the Sprit of God placed upon Him. This One is Jesus. Come and join us as we celebrate and discuss Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
This week we will bring Joy to the World through our praise. God’s Word has so much to say about praise it could be a sermon series in and of itself. But as we look at the characters of Moses and Mary, we find that we can rejoice for our hope has come… and Jesus will soon be returning to restore all things. Now that is something we can have an expectation of praise shouted from the mountain tops!
This week, we discuss what it means to Think About These Things. The world races from one holiday to the next and we get caught up in the race when we ought to be slowing down and ponder the story once again so that it renews us to celebrate the meaning of Christmas. How do we do that? In this sermon, we discuss just how Mary, the mother of Jesus thought about he call into God’s plan.
