The Bible calls us to be transformed into being overcomers through becoming more like Christ. If you think back on your life before Christ, before knowing Him and being united to Him, there may have been times you were addicted to something— and it doesn’t have to be drugs or alcohol— it could have been your career, money, fame, influence. But when Christ came, He changed everything. There is power in our testimonies. We become the light of the world when we share about the blood of the Lamb and our testimony. By sharing with others they too can become overcomers.
Through and through, we know who Jesus is and have experienced His resurrection. We’ve taken root in Him. Now, it's time to go a bit deeper. Going deeper with God changes our entire being and how we live our lives. It is what will allow us to stand firm in times of testing, it is what will help us remain steadfast when the ways of the world glamour for our attention, and it is what will help us hold onto the truth we have found in Christ.
After the excitement of Easter Sunday, it’s easy to feel a bit lost or uncertain. We’ve celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but what comes next? What does it mean for us, as individuals and as a community of believers? We have a choice out of love for Jesus we can remain or we can go and tell others about what the Risen Christ has done in our lives.
We come to celebrate and commemorate the greatest victory in history - the resurrection of our Savior! Let's gather together to lift our spirits in fellowship, share uplifting stories, and sing joyful hymns that remind us of the hope and renewal that come with the message of Yes, He is Risen! Bring your friends and family, and let's rejoice in the triumph of Jesus Christ!
This Sunday, April 2 we celebrate the coming of our King Jesus into Jerusalem. With the waving of palm branches, the laying down of cloaks upon the road, Jesus came not as a warrior King, but as the victor King who would seek and save all who are lost. In view of God’s mercy, He sent His Son that whoever should believe in Him would live eternally. Jesus, the humble King came for you.
