Answer this question: “On what does your heart dwell?” Is it family and friends? Career or vocation? How about home and cars? Join us this week as we dive into the profound truth that our hearts gravitate towards what we treasure most, uncovering the path to aligning our desires with what God desires. Maybe it’s time for a heart alignment.
As we navigate the hustle and bustle of life, it's easy to lose sight of the profound truth—the Lord is coming! The Bible reminds us to be prepared at any moment. Are you ready to welcome His presence? Let's embark on this journey of anticipation together.
God’s love for us is not based on conditions. His love never changes. May we be reminded that “while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). That is how God demonstrated His love, His unfailing love for each one of us— for you. You may be thinking that God could never love you because of what you have done. God’s love is not based on what you have done but is based on what Jesus did on the cross. One thing in this life you can be guaranteed of is that God’s love is unfailing.
We like the prodigal often search for other things in life to fill the void that seems to be missing from our lives. However, when we come to our senses and realize that life within the Father's house was much better than the world has to offer, the Father is waiting to restore and rekindle our relationship as one of His children. Our distant heart can be redeemed through turning to the Father and heading Home.
This week, we discuss what it means to Think About These Things. The world races from one holiday to the next and we get caught up in the race when we ought to be slowing down and ponder the story once again so that it renews us to celebrate the meaning of Christmas. How do we do that? In this sermon, we discuss just how Mary, the mother of Jesus thought about he call into God’s plan.
Who owns your heart? Where does your allegiance lie? The world says so many things that sound like the truth but there is One who we ought to bow the knee and give our allegiance, and He is Jesus. We can be patriotic and be proud to be an American, but we must know and understand our citizenship is in the Kingdom of God.
