Jesus, the Bread of Life, invites us to come to Him and never hunger or thirst again. In Him, we find what our souls have always longed for—salvation, purpose, and eternal life. As we prepare for the celebration of His birth, let’s remember that He came to fill the emptiness in our hearts with His eternal goodness.
The Cross, symbolizing sacrifice and redemption, finds its ultimate meaning through the resurrection of Jesus, signifying victory over death and the promise of new life. In embracing the transformative power of Christ's resurrection, believers are called to leave behind the burdens of sin and emerge into a renewed existence, filled with hope, forgiveness, and the abundant grace of God.
Our journey as Christians through the ups and downs of life can be as grueling as hiking a tall mountain. But when we rely on the help and support of Jesus, we know that he will carry us through ever scenario we may encounter. Over time, we too, come to realize that God is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power at work wihtin us. We can persevere because of him.
The shepherds came from the fields, the Magi came from distant lands all to witness Emmanuel, God with us. Jesus reminds us that all who come will not be cast aside, but will be embraced with the love of God that transforms hearts and minds to be like Christ. Join us as we come together as the Body of Christ worshipping God and celebrating Holy Communion.
Do you talk to God? Or Do you talk with God? Prayer is conversing with God in words, thoughts, and gestures. It marks a life with God, where we continually pay attention to God’s presence in this world and in us. Prayer builds a relationship with God as we respond to His self-giving love and mercy and to His commitment to lead us into truth.
Embrace the profound difference between the world's clamor to "be who you want to be" and God's resounding declaration that "you are Mine, a chosen, holy people." Who we are centers around the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ—our ultimate gift of redemption. As we come together to celebrate Holy Communion, let us remember that God calls us His own, and it's in this divine truth that we find our purpose and identity.
Celebrating a New Beginning is a joyful and transformative experience, akin to embarking on a fresh journey with Jesus. It's an opportunity to leave behind the past and embrace a spiritual rebirth filled with hope, faith, and the promise of a brighter future.
If you’re not excited about something, chances are you won’t tell many people about it. For many Christians, the excitement of the Christian walk has been dulled by everyday distractions, materialistic pursuits, and unconfessed sin. We can stay excited about our relationship with Jesus Christ and, as a result, tell more people about Him.
The Bible calls us to be transformed into being overcomers through becoming more like Christ. If you think back on your life before Christ, before knowing Him and being united to Him, there may have been times you were addicted to something— and it doesn’t have to be drugs or alcohol— it could have been your career, money, fame, influence. But when Christ came, He changed everything. There is power in our testimonies. We become the light of the world when we share about the blood of the Lamb and our testimony. By sharing with others they too can become overcomers.
On Christmas Day, Lead Pastor Steve Darr told a story about the Fourth Wiseman. His name is Artaban and he comes to us through “The Story of the Other Wise Man,” a book written by Henry Van Dyke and published in 1895. It is a beautiful story grounded in the teachings of Jesus. Through carols and Scripture, the story of the birth of Jesus the Messiah once again was told to remind us that He is God with Us.
