Well, this week we look at how everything was formed and the Apostle John introduces us to the Word, to the force in the universe that made everything, to that emanation that comes from God, that revelation that comes from God, that manifestation that comes from God which expresses the will of God, the mind of God, the power of God, the purpose of God, the design of God, the plan of God. He wants us to meet this powerful force— He wants us to meet Himself, the One who created all things through speaking a “word.”
