Put your Sunday groove on because we are coming together as a Church to worship, praise, and thank God for all He has done and will do through you and me in this new season. Have you ever seen those commercials where people press a reset button? We aren’t resetting things, we are moving forward with a Fresh Start, a new step in our walk with God and one another. Be sure to join us this Sunday as we see new faces, make friends, and take that fresh step in your spiritual journey. We have a ton of opportunities to make connections, learn more about God, and serve in our community!
On this weekend we celebrate the birth of our nation and the freedoms we enjoy. The sacrifices made on our behalf by the many who gave their all have provided us with these freedoms. Jesus gives us true freedom. Through His death and resurrection we are free from the bondage of sin and death. In the way we live our lives we can honor the many who have died for these freedoms. Above all we must honor the greatest sacrifice ever made, Jesus, the Lamb of God who gave all for you and I that we may have eternal life.
Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! We hope you will join us as we celebrate our Risen Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. At the empty tomb, we find the passion of Christ burst forth in glorious day! For up from the grave He arose triumphant over His foes. As we reflect on this day it not only gives us hope for today it provides hope for the future. For like Jesus we too will rise again. So, have you heard? Jesus Christ is risen today! Hallelujah!
We begin our Lent Series, Places of the Passion. We will be walking in the footsteps of Jesus, visiting places where HIs passion took place to learn more about His sacrifice for us. We begin in Jerusalem, the city of peace to understand the Prince of Peace. His coming to rescue humanity from its sin and offer those who believe true peace.
We’re hanging out the “Gone Fishing” sign— well not really, but it does make us think about going out. When someone hangs out that sign, they in fact are going fishing. As believers, as followers of Christ, He has given us a great commission to go out and make disciples teaching all He had taught us. Have you gone fishing lately? Have you told your story of how God through Christ has made you new? Listen in this week as we dialogue about what it takes to be purposefully active in ministry with Christ.
We begin to remember the life of Christ starting with His baptism. In the account of this event we see the trinity, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. And the Prophet Isaiah reminds us that the Servant of the Lord who came would have the Sprit of God placed upon Him. This One is Jesus. Come and join us as we celebrate and discuss Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
This week we take a few steps into a New Year and trust God with everything that might lie ahead in it. God is always doing a new thing in our hearts, minds, and lives when we surrender them over to His plan and purpose. Join us this week as we discover “All Things New” and how God longs for us to join Him in this New Year.
This week we will bring Joy to the World through our praise. God’s Word has so much to say about praise it could be a sermon series in and of itself. But as we look at the characters of Moses and Mary, we find that we can rejoice for our hope has come… and Jesus will soon be returning to restore all things. Now that is something we can have an expectation of praise shouted from the mountain tops!
Navigating the narrow road requires us to be in-tune with God to know when to move and where to move toward. That’s where discernment comes in the life of a believer. This week, we continue in our sermon series on LAND. We will learn what it means to Discern Movement. This is knowing where God is moving and joining Him in His plan and purpose. It means keeping our eyes and ears tuned to His Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to be at work helping us discern the decisions we have to make in this world.
We continue this week with our new sermon series: L.A.N.D. and things we might have to look at in our lives to join God in HIs plans and purpose for us. This week, we look at what it means to Navigate and not just to fix our eyes somewhere but how to effectively Navigate the Narrow Road. Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). There are things we can do to navigate in this world with godly perspective.
