There are physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of being thankful to God and others. We are called as followers of Christ to encourage one another until the Day of Lord happens. Gratitude is one of those ways we can lift each other up.
We continue this week with our new sermon series: L.A.N.D. and things we might have to look at in our lives to join God in HIs plans and purpose for us. This week, we look at what it means to Navigate and not just to fix our eyes somewhere but how to effectively Navigate the Narrow Road. Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). There are things we can do to navigate in this world with godly perspective.
There is no sitting on the fence, there is a choice to be made in each one of our lives whether or not we are willing to follow Christ and move forward or not. Scripture tells us that we cannot be lukewarm Christians. God would rather have us either hot or cold, but not sitting on the fence in our faith.
There are many in this world that are trying to fill the God-sized hole in their lives with everything else. They are trying to find true freedom. As followers of Jesus Christ, we know that True Freedom is found in Him, being united with Him, joining Him in His work in the world. Join us this weekend as we talk about what it means to Finding True Freedom.
We celebrate Communion together and remember the sacrifice given so that we might have life. The Christian walk isn’t just looking pretty on the outside. There’s proof to the walk in being united with Christ. Scripture says “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”
Discontentment often has society looking for fulfillment in other places. It may result in a pattern of turning away from God rather than running toward Him. Being content in all things is a discipline we all can use strengthening in. Join us as we discuss what it means as a follower of Jesus to be content.
This week we confront being transformed not just informed. The stories of the Bible are great but they are meant to transform our lives into the Christlike nature of the Son. Let us remember we are the Body of Christ growing up into Him who is the perfecter of our faith.
We are studying what it means to L.E.A.P. toward God’s plan and purpose for our lives and as a church. This week, we top it off by maintaining focus on what God longs to do in us and through us.
Today, we look at what it means to join in with God's Purpose and Plan. We begin to ask ourselves if we are ready and willing to share in God's plan? Jesus calls us all to GO. This week is the first of two parts of joining God's plan, join us next week as we discover what it means to GO and what it takes to GO.
We head into our second week of learning what it means to LEAP toward God's Plan. By Embracing everything that today has, everything that God is doing and Embracing Jesus more and more, we will live the life He has created for us to live.
