In the Bible we are told that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move a mountain (Matthew 17:20). Mustard seeds are tiny, but when nurtured—just like our faith—they can grow into something hardy. Something strong. Something that can flourish in all kinds of places. First Church is here to equip you with relevant Bible studies that are sound, meaningful, and life-giving. We design our studies to help adults grow their faith, refresh their spirit, and equip them for ministry.

DAYLIGHT BIBLE STUDY

Tuesday Afternoons • 1:00 p.m.

Can't make it out on an evening? Join us during the daytime as we study God's word through a book study by a prominent Christian author. These studies are typically supplemented by with a video and discussion. They are thought-provoking and even challenging as we, together build up our faith and grow into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

FOUR CORNER CIRCLE

Fridays • 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
FC Fellowship Hall

All women are welcome to come and bring any craft you are working on (not limited to knitting, crocheting, and embroidery). You may not be able to make it every Friday, but just come when you can. Come and look through our pictures of past quilts and see if you can recognize the faces of the ladies of years ago. We have a precious history of wonderful women who created and gave the profits from their work to our church and community. We have a wonderful heritage because of them.

MEN's Book study

 Second Saturday of the Month • 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

Coffee is brewing at 7:30 a.m. and the study begins at 8:oo a.m. We are working through the book “Disciplines of a Godly Man” by R. Kent Hughes. Men, we will never get anywhere in life without discipline, and doubly so in spiritual matters. None of us is inherently righteous, so Paul’s instructions regarding spiritual discipline in 1 Timothy 4:7-8 take on personal urgency to train yourself for godliness.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the ladies of our church to gather together for a time of fellowship, study, and breakfast. Bring a friend and a breakfast item to share. We choose a popular women's faith-journey book to study.

Fourth Saturday of the Month • 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

​Men face tough battles living for God and our families ... and it isn't getting any easier. Too many of us battle alone - and we don't have to! Join other men - the 4th Saturday of each month (typically) - for a time of fellowship, encouragement and great food as we become fully alive men who work together to restore God's intended design for our families and the communities around us.
