There is no sitting on the fence, there is a choice to be made in each one of our lives whether or not we are willing to follow Christ and move forward or not. Scripture tells us that we cannot be lukewarm Christians. God would rather have us either hot or cold, but not sitting on the fence in our faith.
There are many in this world that are trying to fill the God-sized hole in their lives with everything else. They are trying to find true freedom. As followers of Jesus Christ, we know that True Freedom is found in Him, being united with Him, joining Him in His work in the world. Join us this weekend as we talk about what it means to Finding True Freedom.
We celebrate Communion together and remember the sacrifice given so that we might have life. The Christian walk isn’t just looking pretty on the outside. There’s proof to the walk in being united with Christ. Scripture says “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”
Discontentment often has society looking for fulfillment in other places. It may result in a pattern of turning away from God rather than running toward Him. Being content in all things is a discipline we all can use strengthening in. Join us as we discuss what it means as a follower of Jesus to be content.
We continue with our series on L.E.A.P. We will discover today what it means to Apply God's Word. We all go to the Bible and take a few verses out to emphasize what is going on or to back up and defend a position we hold. But applying God's word is more than that. Join us as we encounter what it means to apply His word correctly to our lives.
We gather together to celebrate communion and remember and proclaim that Jesus is the cure for our social ills of the world today. He is the Savior of the world and we are equipped to go out and tell of how He has changed our lives so that others may know the good news of our risen Lord.
Today we complete our series on the Apostle’s Creed and what we believe. We focus on the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Today, we also want to take time and reflect on those men and women who have given their lives to fight for our freedom. We honor them and we pray for their families. We also take a moment to think about those frontline heroes in our midst during the pandemic and thank them for their service.
Often times we ask God, “How Long, O Lord.” And He is asking us to remain patient for His time, for His will to be done. We do not know how long, but we do know the One in whose hands we can place our today, tomorrow, and future. Join us for worship.
